The only error you'll ever need

There are some operating systems known for their crashability, and they know who they are. On a good day, you can crash nearly any program you happen to be running. Screen savers, network drivers, text editors, and mail checkers are only the surface. Your programs are never safe until your computer shuts down. Of course, then you can't use them.

People ask why I don't switch to a less crashable operating system. I don't because if I did, I wouldn't be able to complain about things like this:

When the simplest of programs crashes, that's a sign for displeasure.
