Rush to keep trying

The NFL has not yet put an end to its Colour Rush programme, the scheme in which teams wear kits made up of a single colour from neck to toe. Accordingly, next season you should expect to see still more games in which teams wear silly things.

In reality, each teams’ choices of silly things to wear in Colour Rush matches are alarmingly limited. Luckily, we here at GoobNet do not limit ourselves to reality. We have previously presented our Colour Rush simulator, in which you may recolour each team’s uniforms and put them through colour vision deficiency tests.

This season, Jacksonville and Tennessee have introduced new kits, and Miami have made some adjustments to their suite of kits, including a switch to a brighter shade of orange. Furthermore, last season Oakland changed the pants of their Colour Rush kits from light silver to white. These changes have now been incorporated into our simulator.

Now, for the first time this season, we present to you the opportunity to select your own colour combinations and see how they would look under certain types of colour vision deficiencies. Simply drag two teams of your choice onto the home and away boxes below. You will then be presented with several kit choices for each team. Once you select a pairing, click the options to simulate how your selected kits would look to those with protanopia, deuteranopia, tritanopia, or achromatopsia.
